Product Responsibility
Adhering to the "Craftsmanship Spirit," Karrie is meticulous about product safety and quality, ensuring that all outputs meet relevant standards. We persist in innovative thinking with "Adapting to the Situations," enhancing manufacturing technological capabilities, integrating automation and AI technologies, and striving for perfection. The quality and safety of our products are supported by independent third-party verification of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems.
The Quality Management Committee is responsible for establishing Karrie‘s quality policies and guidelines. It sets up the Measurement Team, ISO Task Force Group, Central Documentation Team, and IQC Group to fulfill quality control functions, ensuring that each critical step in the manufacturing process has built-in quality control mechanisms. Working closely with the Marketing Department, Engineering and R&D Department, Procurement Department, and various production departments, we implement hazardous substance management according to customer requirements, and also introduce low-carbon recycled materials to collectively address global environmental and climate issues.
Suppliers Management
Karrie establishes close relationships with suppliers to create a robust and reliable supply chain for customers. Taking a holistic view of the supply chain, we manage potential risks at different stages, actively promote localized procurement and the development of alternative materials to address market challenges, and leverage economies of scale to further reduce production costs. Through qualification management of new suppliers and performance management of existing suppliers, we are committed to continuously enhancing overall supplier performance. Supplier evaluations cover production capacity, operational stability, financial assessment, contingency plan evaluation, risk management, quality system management, and sustainability management. Through a review management model, suppliers have clear criteria for controlling their operating models, ensuring a thorough understanding of how to guarantee product and service quality.
In accordance with the Responsible Business Alliance and the Global Electronics Sustainability Initiative requirements, Karrie ensures it does not use the “Conflict Minerals” (like Au, Ta, Sn, W, Co and Mica) from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and its adjoining countries. We publish the Conflict Minerals Report annually and require suppliers to adhere to the following commitments:
-
Suppliers must uphold the high standards for social and
environmental responsibilities in their operations;
-
Karrie does not accept the “Conflict Minerals” originating
from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and its adjoining
countries;
-
Suppliers shall establish and maintain an effective management
system for restriction of “conflict minerals”, to ensure that
the materials used, e.g. Au, Ta, Sn, W, Co and Mica, are not
sourced from mines in the conflict region;
-
Suppliers should impose the same requirements on their
sub-tier suppliers.
Corporate Governance
Establishing good management practices helps create long-term value. To this end, Karrie has set up an Executive Committee comprising professional management from various fields to oversee internal daily operations and management tasks. Concerning sustainability matters, Karrie has established a Corporate Sustainability Committee, consisting of heads of departments related to sustainability issues, led by an executive director reporting to the board of directors. Together, they develop and review the company's corporate social responsibility mechanisms and development strategies.
Karrie firmly believes in the importance of honesty, integrity, and fairness. We have internal audit mechanisms in place and adhere to risk management policies. We issue an "Employee Code of Ethics" to provide clear guidance and whistleblowing procedures for employees to follow, avoiding fraudulent or conflicting behavior. We also send out "Belief in Peers" letters to urge partners not to offer benefits to our employees and provide whistleblowing channels.
Respecting customer and third-party intellectual property rights, Karrie executes confidentiality work based on nondisclosure agreements signed with customers or partners. Employees who handle confidential company information are required to sign nondisclosure agreements and fulfill confidentiality responsibilities. Information security is ensured through measures concerning on-site environments, personnel education, and network software.
