Environmental Protection

In the face of the urgent global climate crisis, Karrie supports global climate change action to limit global warming to below 1.5℃. In line with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we have set medium to long-term emission reduction goals, aligning with global emission reduction trends, aiming to achieve "net zero" operations by 2050 or earlier. We have united different departments to establish a climate framework, aiming to provide customers with more environmentally friendly mechanical engineering solutions at the production level, and offering financial, technological, and knowledge support for our low-carbon transformation at the back-end support level.

Karrie has been awarded the ISO14001 environmental management system certification since 2001. We strictly adhere to environmental management practices, including conducting environmental factor and impact analyses annually at headquarters and production sites. Following the principles of lean production, we manage the use of energy, water resources, and raw materials at production sites. We rigorously comply with relevant environmental laws and regulations for handling emissions, wastewater, and solid waste. Setting environmental objectives and corresponding improvement plans, we conduct regular audits to ensure the effectiveness of the system.

Every year, the Group prepares a Sustainability Report and conducts a greenhouse gas emissions inventory during the report preparation process. An independent third-party is engaged to verify such emissions data. The emissions figures and verification results are disclosed in the Sustainability Report published every July. Details of the greenhouse gas emissions and verification results for the 2025/26 financial year are set out below. For greenhouse gas emissions and verification information of previous years, please refer to the respective Sustainability Reports for each year.
