Passing on Value
Karrie firmly believes that isolation is not the path to sustainability. Therefore, we frequently engage with stakeholders through activities such as visits and knowledge sharing, working together towards sustainability goals. In line with the educational mission passed down by our founder, Karrie donates scholarships to universities and vocational colleges, organizes youth development activities, hosts visits for young students, and facilitates exchanges to help educators and students understand industrial development. We provide resource support to the community and partners, actively participate in various industry organizations, serve on school boards, engage in business exchanges, and contribute to educational development discussions, by learning from advanced management practices and scientific technologies.
Community Building
Karrie makes significant investments in its local community, contributing to talent development, infrastructure, and actively participating in charitable and community projects. Since 2005, we have established a social responsibility policy committing to allocate 0.3% of the previous year's profits annually towards fulfilling social responsibilities. To date, we have donated nearly HK$10 million. Led by the Corporate Sustainability Committee, Karrie Volunteer Team was established at the Hong Kong headquarters, organizing employees to actively participate in corporate volunteering services. Internally in mainland China, we have set up internal organizations such as the Workers Union Office and Party Branch, engaging in long-term collaborations with local welfare institutions and educational groups. We participate widely in various social welfare activities in talent education, assisting the underprivileged, disaster relief, and other areas of community service.
